Being one with nature I find myself
It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day rat race of life, with our out of control to-do lists, overloaded calendar of commitments, and our being constantly plugged into technology from the moment our feet hit the floor in the morning till our exhausted bodies hit the bed at night.
Taking time out of our busy lives to slow down and enjoy the moments that matter, the things that bring us happiness is so important and necessary to our wellbeing.
How often do you make time for YOU? Do you have a place you go or an activity you do that let's you forget about the rest of the world and just Focus On You?
When is the last time you gave yourself permission to slow down, recharge, and FOCUS ON YOU?
I recently spent a wonderful afternoon in the Nantahala forest, completely checked out from the rest of the world. IT WAS AMAZING to just wander the forest, take in all of nature's beauty, and enjoy the peace and quiet. The whole experience was MUSIC TO MY SOUL.
I returned home feeling brand new - my spirit was light, my energy was high, my heart felt whole, my mind was clear. I felt like a new person - completely recharged and ready to take on the world. I was filled with joy, happiness, and serenity.
Taking care of myself first - it's the best way I know how to show up for everyone else in my life!!
